Danielle Lafaurie was born immersed in the fashion world that she inherited from her mother Olga Piedrahita. She studied industrial design at the “Universidad de los Andes”, and her natural inclination towards creation and multiple creative disciplines also  lead her to look into the world of literature.

 After living in India for a couple of years, she returns in 2007 to work at the Olga Piedrahita brand, from where she has created her platform: design and production of creative projects around fashion, photography and jewelry. Sometimes as creative director or producer, and sometimes as designer.

In her design line, she explores Colombian and Latin-American roots, creating GLOCAL (Global + local) pieces and stories.
