The threads are a mix of 70% baby alpaca and 30% certified organic cotton achieving a very soft touch. The blanket and clothing are finished by hand. Buttons are also finished by hand with crotchet edges, one of the signatures of Bombicis.

The rattle is entirely handmade.

BOMBICIS, is a family business led by Genoveva Freire and focused on the finest children´s clothing using Peru´s organic pima cotton and alpaca.

Genoveva finds inspiration in Perú´s cultural heritage that she continues to discover through her travels. In 2011 her youngest daughter was born and she firmed up her commitment to give her the best natural ingredients as well as the finest natural textures. It was in 2015 that the brand formally started.

Today, she continues committed to building a brand for children that is rooted in tradition and craftsmanship specially researching the interesting Paracas culture while giving back to the communities with an active program of social responsibility.
